PAYMENT: For payment I accept personal checks, cashier's check and money orders. After much consideration, I decided not to accept credit cards. For a small, low volume business like Alpenglow Photo, the initial costs and monthly fees associated with credit card transactions would be significant, and would inevitably need to be recouped from you... the customer. I don't believe this is fair, and while the "old fashion" methods of payment may not be as quick as typing in a credit card number, I believe the cost savings, (not to mention extra security), are worth the minimal effort it takes to write, and cash a check. I hope you understand, as I believe this is in both of our interests. However, I am always open to hear your feedback, (Contact Mike), and if my volume of sales changes in the future, I may reconsider this current approach.
